Barriers to independence, having the brain of a three year old, divided attention.
Just think, three years ago everyone was thinking, “Why would you name a child Waylon Tiger Baer?!”
Our little Tiger is not so little anymore. Starting pre-school in the fall (never thought we’d do it but he’s ready), half potty trained, and slowly transitioning from crib to big bed. Waylon has a great vocabulary, which can be confusing because we think–Why are you acting like this?! You’re four years old! But then we remember, oh nevermind–you’re just two and irrational.
Smart and strong, happy and sweet, and impossibly a three year old. Waylon is a good boy. Not the easiest boy, but a good boy. Always up for attention and adventure. His love language is physical touch which is very sweet. I hope he wants to hold hands forever.
We love him so much.
Happy birthday, buddy.
